Funding Alert: Request for City Fund Capacity Building LOIs

The Community Foundation for the National Capital Region is Pleased to Announce that Letters of Inquiry are Now Being Accepted for the City Fund

Established in 2013, the City Fund seeks to advance the goals of the District of Columbia’s One City Plan:
• Grow and diversify the District’s economy;
• Educate and prepare the workforce for the new economy;
• Improve the quality of life for all.
One-time capacity building grants will be made to eligible non-profits for up to $100,000.

How to Apply:

The Capacity Building Grant is a two-step process. For organizations that are interested in applying, a Letter of Inquiry (LOI) must be submitted via The Community Foundation’s online application system no later than 4pm on June 9th, 2014.

Applicants will receive notification by June 27th regarding an invitation to submit a full proposal. Only organizations invited to submit full proposals are eligible to receive funding through this grant round.
