New Research on Supporting Our Regions’ Workers

The Community Foundation’s Greater Washington Workforce Development Collaborative has recently awarded $25,000 to DC Fiscal Policy Institute in support of their excellent research and analysis on issues impacting local workers. We are pleased to share new research undertaken by DCFPI on the dramatic impact that scheduling and part-time work arrangements can have on our region’s workers. DCFPI makes recommendations on how DC policymakers can move to better support at-risk workers in the new report, “Unpredictable, Unsustainable: The Impact of Employers’ Scheduling Practices in DC.”
