Saluting CareFirst’s Nonprofit Partners

Community Foundation staff attends the CareFirst Commitment event which is a salute to CareFirst’s nonprofit partners who improve the accessibility, affordability and quality of health care in our region. As a leader in the industry, CareFirst continues to promote change and make a lasting impact on the long-term health of our community. Among several of the nonprofits featured were Mary’s Center, DC Central Kitchen, and Maryland Multi-Cultural Youth Center, who are also grantees of The Community Foundation. CareFirst is also one of the many businesses that have established a fund with The Community Foundation and are partnering with us to advance their philanthropic goals.
