Save the Date! Connecting Youth to Opportunity Campaign Launch and Report Press Conference

On October 23, The Community Foundation for the National Capital Region will launch the 2020 Campaign: Connecting Youth to Opportunity in Montgomery County, a county-wide effort to stop the flow of young people ages 16 – 24 who disconnect from school and work.  Please join us to unveiling our groundbreaking study – Connecting Youth to Opportunity: How African American Youth Perspectives Can Inform a Blueprint for Improving Opportunity in Montgomery County – produced in partnership with Montgomery College.  You will learn about the needs of African American youth who, along with Latino youth, comprise the over 8,000 youth who are “disconnected”.  You will have the opportunity to join community, civic, philanthropic and business leaders to define the roles you can take to improve the practices, programs, and policies needed to ensure all youth are on track for success.
