Community Benefit Agreements
The Community Foundation works with local governments and businesses to build diverse community benefit collaboratives, including managing MGM National Harbor’s investments to improve the quality of life for Prince George’s County residents.

Disaster Response
The Community Foundation has a history of helping corporate partners support large-scale disaster relief and economic recovery efforts. One of our more notable examples, the Marriott Disaster Relief Fund, has provided more than $1.8 million in relief since it’s creation in 2005.

Issues Exploration
As a leading convener and thought leader in the Greater Washington region, The Community Foundation connects corporate partners with the community knowledge and the relationships to make impactful investments around key issues. In 2004, we partnered with major law firm Willkie Farr & Gallagher LLP to distribute more than $2 million in grants to support underserved youth.
